Mr. Lawson graduated from Community General Hospital of Syracuse Nurse Practitioner Program in 1991. He has been practicing orthopaedics with Dr. Nitin Banwar in Clifton Springs since his graduation. Joe joined Interlakes Orthopaedics with Dr. Banwar in 2001.
Joe was raised in Seneca Falls and graduated from Mynderse Academy in June 1969. He then went to play professional baseball with the Milwaukee Brewers until 1974. Joe decided on a career change in 1975 and he entered the medical field and became an operating room technician and eventually an operating room nurse. He worked in the operating room first in Mesa, Arizona and then in Clifton Springs Hospital.
Mr. Lawson's goals are to provide quality orthopedic care in a timely manner. He believes that involving a patient in their care is important and strives to include his patients in structuring their individual care plans.
Joe enjoys traveling, four-wheeling on old logging trails and following the careers of his children.
